Channel Angels Invests In MSP Security Startup SaaS Alerts
Channel Angels has invested in SaaS Alerts, the cybersecurity company purpose-built for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to protect and monetize their customers’ core business SaaS applications.
SaaS Alerts, led by Kaseya and Thrive veteran Jim Lippie, has raised $4.5 million through 2021 — of which more than $500,000 came from MSP owners and employees. More than a dozen of those MSP entrepreneurs invested in SaaS Alerts via Channel Angels.
SaaS Alerts has major momentum for an early stage security startup. Key business highlights for 2021 include:
Released General Availability of SaaS Alerts Platform
Expanded its partner base to more than 360 MSPs
Empowered MSPs to protect more than 125,000 SMB end user accounts
Logged over 50 million Security Events to-date
Launched a strategic partnership with Zomentum to help MSPs increase their cybersecurity revenue; as well as a strategic partnership with Solutions Granted to offer MSPs a multi-layered approach to SaaS cybersecurity.
