Brelyon Ultra Reality Immersive Display Set to Disrupt CES 2024
Brelyon will unveil its Ultra Reality immersive displays at CES 2024 — the massive consumer electronics conference (January 9-12, Las Vegas), the Silicon Valley startup has confirmed. The company also announced plans to extend its displays into the automotive market.
Brelyon’s immersive displays provide a massive field of view without requiring users to wear headsets (i.e., Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest Pro). Channel Angels is an early stage Brelyon investor (special thanks to Propel(x) for the opportunity to participate).
Here’s a look at the launch video:
Describing the launch, Brelyon CEO Barmak Heshmat in video launch said: “After 10,000 in-person demos, weeks of user studies and partnering with 50 enterprise partners, we have come to a turning point. [This is] the start of a new branch in the evolutionary tree of human-computer experience. Introducing Ultra Reality Production Model.”
Among the milestones, the Ultra Reality monitor is the first computer monitor with minocular depth. That means the desktop-sized monitor (at 30-inches in size) creates an illusion of a massive 10-foot monitor along with a 110 degree field of view.
A second product, known as the Ultra Reality Mini, can deliver a 40-inch screen “experience” while actually occupying far less physical space, the company asserts.
Brelyon Display Technologies: Coming to Automobiles
Brelyon also introduced Automotive Wave 1 — though details about the technology are only available to OEM clients. The company has signed contracts with five global automotive companies, the company said.
Also of note: The new Brelyon Software Suite will help users to further refine desktop image experiences, the company said.
